Most of the middle age technology was rare.But before long tides changed and soon technology was used regularly.Did you ever wonder where that alarm that wakes you up in the morning comes from.Or when it was made or what it was made with.Well the Mechanical Clock has a lot of history going back thousands of years with plenty of different variations.                    The beginning of it all were sundials which were built in 3500 B.C. Those sundials were imported from Babylon.They were used to mark a passage of time to determine the beginning of any harvest or planting season.To get the sundials to work you would place them above a doorway to tell the position of time.The sundial was very revolutionary for its ti                      Soon there were many other types of clocks.There was stonehenge clocks,sandglass clocks,and even candles.But they were all there to do one thing and that is to tell time.Then,a water clock was created.The water clock used a flow of water to measure the time that the clock drained.                        Then the mechanical clock was created in 723 AD.Mechanical clocks were better because they could accurately tell time more than water clocks.The reason it was created was Su Song was late to somewhere so he never wanted to be late again.You could use the clock to go somewhere or to use for a schedule.By setting the clock you could always be precise going somewhere.                       The clock paved the way for future time inventions to come.Soon the mechanical clock became digital so that you could see on phones,a tv box,or an alarm clock.In the early days of the clock inventions there was atomic clocks,elephant clocks,and even the still used and famous hourglass.No doubt clocks will be used till the “end of time.” But I think mechanical clocks can have even more advancements down the line.
