The three witches are also an Influence on Macbeth because of the simple fact of telling him the three prophecies.
These are the three main characters instigating and causing Machete’s demise. Lady Macbeth Is the first to instigate the demise of her husband Macbeth. Lady Macbeth had the ability to influence Machete’s Judgment and decision making and she used that ability to make him do things that could potentially create great opportunities in her future, like becoming queen. In her quest to become queen she persuades Macbeth to murder Duncan, and although Macbeth had doubts she continued to challenge him to commit the act “But screw your courage to the sticking- place, and we’ll not fail. The witches help continue Macbeth downfall by the three apparitions; these were “Macbeth, Macbeth, Macbeth. Beware Macadam. Beware the Thane of Fife”, “Be bloody, bold, and resolute; laugh to scorn the power of man… ” And finally “Be lion-mottled. Proud; and take no care who chaffs… With these statements came a lot of temptation to Macbeth and supplied him with too much confidence. But the witches never said for Macbeth to commit the crimes they just supplied the motive and ability for him to do so, making them a main part In the demise of Macbeth.

Macbeth also realizes throughout that there was no good reason for his actions; he said “l have no spur to prick the sides of my intent, but only Vaulting ambition, which overlaps itself and falls on the other. Showing his impatient ambition had become a problem. But it was not the only thing making it the cause of his downfall, considering the fact that he was the one and only person who made himself participated in the crimes committed. By Macbeth making decisions that he did in order to get the power he desired both combined lead to Machete’s isolation from everyone, his wife commits suicide and ultimately his own death. With the help of Lady Macbeth and the three witches Macbeth created his own demise making his rise to power less desirable and to no extent well earned.
