5. Preview: I’m not going to tell you a biography of Armstrong life, but rather three Important aspects of his career.

First I will explain how he had to overcome cancer during his cycling career, secondly how e became such a well known cyclist and lastly his use of Illegal drugs to enhance his cycling career. Body: 1. First Main Point: In 1996 Lance Armstrong, at the age of 24, was diagnosed with advanced testicular cancer which had spread to his lungs and brain. A. Supporting Point #1 : This was a big moment In Lance Armstrong’s career because earlier that year he was ranked as the number one cyclist In the world. Armstrong was given a 50 percent chance of survival and went under five different surgeries.
